Wait a minute ...
Previous post photo - aren't those guys stepping on the mat? Does that mean it does not work already at the starting line?

Hi May Ching! Found you while searching for Mizuno photos. I was at the starting line...beneath the carpet has 3 wires which will send signals to your shoes. Basically the wires is further up the carpet. :)
hi chermaine, thanks for the explanation! as there was no beep and by the time (probably 50m behind) i passed the line (abt 1.5 min after the start), the carpet was all trampled over some overturned, and no beep. anyway, aside from that, it was a great race.
In searching to live an extreme life, we are constantly caught up with the search, but not the living.
I love to run, because it defines me - speed, endurance, challenge.
I love photography, because pictures captures a thousand words and feelings.
I love travelling, because I see the life and understand why we are different.
The Nike motto best embodies the extreme life - There is no finishing line...

Hi May Ching! No worries. When I was crossing the line, there was no beep as well...Lets just hope that the device is working fine! :)
Certainly agree with you! I think it was an awesome race. =)
